Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director, Human Resources to join our team at the Chief Operating Office. As a key member of the MPC Human Resources team, you will provide strategic and operational HR advice and support to the Directorate, driving the development and delivery of HR strategic policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert HR advice and guidance to the Directorate on all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Lead HR project work, including analysis, research, and drafting of policies and reports, and participation in policy and consultative working groups.
  • Develop and implement injury rehabilitation, return to work, and case management strategies to support employees.
  • Coordinate executive recruitment across MPC, including position management and advertising.
Requirements
  • Qualifications in human resources, employee relations, or psychology are highly desirable.
  • National Police Check will be required prior to commencement.
