Land Programs Manager

We are seeking a Land Programs Manager to join our team and take ownership of the land programmes sector of our business, developing and delivering exceptional experiences for guests.

About the Role

This hands-on role will lead, manage and develop one Land Programme Coordinator, book and coordinate Tour Leaders and casual staff to ensure they are prepared for the delivery of their assigned programs. You will also be responsible for sourcing and developing new product and preparing new product proposals for clients, as well as coordinating with the client and their onboard team to deliver the contracted program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage and develop one Land Programme Coordinator.
  • Sources and develops new product and prepares new product proposals for clients.
  • Coordinates with the client and their onboard team to deliver the contracted program.
  • Manages tour leaders, coaches and suppliers to ensure the program is delivered to a high standard.
  • Updates port partners on sales and ensures all services are booked and delivered to meet contractual obligations.
Requirements

You will be a highly motivated team player with a tertiary qualification in tourism and a minimum 2 years' relevant experience. Your innovative approach to developing land product and delivering ground operations will see you thrive in this dynamic role.

  • A sound knowledge of Australian ports & cities.
  • Experience providing logistical or operational service within cruise or tourism.
  • A high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong administrative skills and the ability to learn new systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure.
