As a passionate advocate for quality care, we're seeking Support Workers to deliver exceptional support services to clients in the Eastern Suburbs area.

We're looking for dedicated individuals who can work independently and as part of a team, making a positive impact on people's lives.

About Our Care Services

As a Support Worker, you'll be directly responsible for helping clients with daily living activities such as personal care, domestic assistance, meal preparation, social support, and transport. You'll also be accountable for identifying and reporting any noticeable changes in a client's condition, as well as supporting their independence and personal development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out all work in accordance with our guidelines, as directed by the care plan.
  • Support and assist in providing a clean, comfortable, safe, and secure environment by attending to domestic assistance tasks directed by the client or care plan.
  • Provide services to achieve maximum independence by meeting daily living and personal needs within the care plan, considering a holistic approach and client preferences.
  • Report any notable observations in client health and wellbeing to your supervisor.
  • Maintain confidentiality and privacy of clients according to our guidelines.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate relationships with clients and their families.
  • Participate in mandatory training and maintain records of all completed training.
  • Have excellent time management skills, as Home Care care workers see many clients throughout their day.
  • Adhere to requirements on money handling.
  • Communicate with our office to address any issues or discuss client matters positively.

Requirements

  • Possess an Australian Certificate III Individual Support or equivalent to attend to personal care and medication prompt tasks.
  • Have a registered and insured car and valid driver's licence.
  • Hold a valid First Aid & CPR certificate and Police Check.
  • Be vaccinated for the annual flu shot and Covid-19 immunisation.
  • Previous experience in community or aged care is desirable.
  • Expectation to travel within the Eastern Suburbs Sydney Region.
