Speech Language Pathologist

This is a highly rewarding role for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to provide therapy services to students in schools and develop capacity within schools in meeting the needs of diverse learners.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Engagement Wellbeing & Learning Team, Principals and school staff to facilitate a holistic approach to learning for all students in our schools. Regular school visits are a key component of this role.

Responsibilities:
  • To provide therapy services to students in schools
  • To develop capacity within schools in meeting the needs of diverse learners
  • To work closely with the Engagement Wellbeing & Learning Team, Principals and school staff
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Formal qualifications in Speech Pathology at Degree level
  • Eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia
  • Demonstrated ability to select and apply current methodologies in the provision of speech language pathology services in an educational setting
  • Demonstrated skills in diagnostic assessment and the implementation of programs and associated strategies to support the needs of students
  • Demonstrated communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills necessary for good working relationships
