
Therapy Services Specialist

This is a dynamic and challenging role for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to provide therapy services to students in schools and contribute to the development of capacity within schools in meeting the needs of diverse learners.
The successful candidate will collaborate with the Engagement, Wellbeing & Learning Team, Principals, and school staff to facilitate a holistic approach to learning for all students in our educational institutions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide evidence-based therapy services to students in schools
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance capacity within schools in meeting the needs of diverse learners
- Collaborate effectively with the Engagement, Wellbeing & Learning Team, Principals, and school staff
- Frequent and regular school visits to support student learning
- Formal qualifications in Speech Pathology at Degree level or equivalent
- Eligibility for membership of relevant speech pathology professional associations
- Demonstrated ability to apply current methodologies in the provision of speech language pathology services in an educational setting
- Additional requirements include demonstrated skills in diagnostic assessment and program implementation, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills necessary for good working relationships, and ability to operate in teams and develop professional networks
