Care Support Worker Job Description
The successful applicant will provide personal care and support to clients as specified on their individual care plans and in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Adopting a personal responsibility in their role, reporting concerns, incidents, and breaches of practice.
- Following and implementing workplace health and safety guidelines, reporting any concerns or incidents.
- Maintaining accurate records as required, including vehicle kilometre records.
- Performing other related duties assigned by relevant managers.
Requirements:
- A Certificate III level qualification in Aged Care, Individual Support, Home and Community Care, or Disability, or a relevant area.
- Ability to meet the requirements of criminal history screening procedures.
- A current First Aid and CPR certificate.
- A valid Driver's Licence.
- Experience in caring for aged people and/or individuals with disabilities is desirable.
- Being a team player with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication, comprehension, and interpersonal skills.
