Telehealth Physician for Remote Aged Care

We are seeking an experienced physician to conduct telehealth rounds in residential aged care facilities. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality medical support, clinical oversight, and continuity of care for residents.
- Conduct after-hours telehealth consultations to assess and manage resident health issues.
- Collaborate with facility staff to develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Update medication charts, issue prescriptions, and order investigations as needed.
- Manage and follow up on acute issues raised by facility staff.
- Communicate effectively with family members and provide referrals to specialists where required.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of consultations within 30 minutes of completion.
- Work independently in a remote environment using telehealth platforms and electronic medical records.
- Make informed, evidence-based decisions and communicate clearly with colleagues and patients.
- Demonstrate a collaborative approach and proactive problem-solving skills.
- AHPRA General or Specialist Registration.
- Experience in residential aged care or primary care settings highly regarded.
