Urgent Search Nurse Practitioner Telehealth Locum

We are seeking a highly skilled After-Hours Telehealth Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team. This flexible locum role allows you to work remotely while making a meaningful impact in aged care.
About the Role
As an After-Hours Nurse Practitioner, you will:
- Provide advanced nursing assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and management to aged care residents via telehealth.
- Address acute health issues, update care plans, and coordinate care with facility staff, GPs, and specialists.
- Issue e-scripts, order/review investigations, and make referrals to telehealth specialists when required.
- Conduct after-hours telehealth rounds and ensure timely documentation to support continuity of care.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of our innovative after-hours model of care.
Work Schedule
- Weekday evenings: 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm
- Weekends: 9:30 am – 12:30 pm | 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm | 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm
- Average 4 consultations per hour (case-dependent).
- Full administrative support provided.
About You
You are a confident, compassionate clinician who thrives in independent practice and embraces telehealth as a tool for impact. You will bring:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Advanced clinical experience in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment relevant to aged care.
- Strong decision-making, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency with telehealth systems and electronic medical records.
- Professional indemnity insurance and your own laptop.
