Equipment Maintenance Professional

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled equipment maintenance professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of various assets and systems within our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair all equipment to ensure proper operating condition
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on complex automation systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair control and electrical system failures involving PLCs, HMIs, servomotors, and other components
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including actuators, valves, pumps, and filters
  • Troubleshoot and repair automated tool mechanical systems, including ballscrews, linear rails, guideways, gearboxes, and 3-phase motors
  • Operate forklifts and company vehicles as needed
  • Perform other related duties to ensure an efficient and effective work environment

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience as a maintenance technician or in a related field
  • 2+ years of experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and/or electrical repair

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
  • 5+ years of experience as a maintenance technician or field service engineer
  • 5+ years of experience repairing, troubleshooting, and/or commissioning overhead crane equipment
  • Experience installing, aligning, and commissioning automated production cells in aerospace environments
  • Experience accessing and modifying Siemens control logic or similar PLC architectures
  • Experience working with CAD and/or mechanical design
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and drawings
  • Ability to write detailed repair reports
  • Ability to operate power tools and hand tools as well as heavy equipment
  • Ability to maintain a safe and clean working environment

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be available for all shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed
  • Capable of being forklift and boom lift certified
  • Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs unassisted and working at heights
  • Willing to travel up to 10%
