About This Role

We're seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in developing unmanned systems for subsurface and other domains. You'll leverage unsupervised autonomy to deliver long-endurance, multi-mission capabilities to our customers. This role requires expertise in software-enabled hardware capabilities and the ability to rapidly develop new skills to architect, design, deliver, support, and evolve next-generation capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own technology solutions deployed to customers, focusing on delivering value to end-users
  • Act as a subject matter expert for areas of expertise related to technology delivery, including hardware selection, testing, robotic perception, engineering processes, and cybersecurity
  • Empathize with end-users, driving solutions that balance their needs with external constraints, restrictions, and requirements in a multi-stakeholder environment
  • Design, architect, and implement integrated systems, including advanced and sensitive platforms and payloads, that rapidly deliver capability beyond current systems, with a clear path for architecture and capability evolution
  • Contribute to the design and development of technology components across Anduril, aiming to develop reusable components across multiple product lines
  • Support vehicle and payload manufacturing, testing, and deployment, and contribute to development processes for complex robotic systems
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Extensive professional experience working as an Engineer with one or more domains and/or technologies of expertise
  • Ability to exercise high ownership over complex systems, including design, integration, test, and delivery of new capabilities
  • Capacity to work holistically on complex robotic systems across design, implementation, operation, and sustainment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience designing, implementing, and supporting robotic and/or autonomous systems
  • Experience working within the defense, maritime, and/or aerospace domains
  • Desire to learn and grow into other roles requiring experience as a Senior Systems Engineer, such as Principal Systems Engineer and/or Engineering Manager
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a highly competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you'll enjoy top-tier benefits, including:
