Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist children in achieving their developmental milestones, such as fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
  • Collaborate with parents, carers and others to facilitate the development and learning of children.
  • Support children with developmental delays in acquiring everyday tasks, such as bathing, getting dressed, brushing their teeth and feeding themselves.
  • Help children with behavioral issues maintain positive behaviors in all environments.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Eligibility for registration upon graduating.
  • Graduated within the last 12 months or graduating this year.
  • A full valid driver's license, with access to a vehicle with third party insurance.
  • A valid Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
  • A current Police Check, or willingness to obtain.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Clearance, or willingness to obtain.
  • First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills, and attention to detail.
