Position Overview:
As the IOL Manager – Surgical Sales, you will play a crucial role in supporting surgical facilities by managing our comprehensive IOL portfolio. Your expertise will be essential in demonstrating the advantages of our products and distinguishing them from competitors through high-level technical consultancy in designated accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
In this position, your daily activities will include:
- Driving overall IOL revenue and expanding market share within your territory.
- Enhancing the penetration of PCIOL products.
- Facilitating the Accelerator program in selected accounts.
- Collaborating with internal teams to manage tender requirements.
- Partnering with Customer Operations on consignment processes, utilizing MyAlcon360.
- Cultivating new business opportunities to meet sales objectives.
- Nurturing and optimizing relationships with existing key customers.
- Providing insights on competitor activities to management.
- Upholding a positive company image at all times.

Required Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of IOL products, with the ability to effectively detail the entire portfolio.
- Strong collaboration, innovation, and customer focus within a talented team.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, capable of engaging with various levels of authority.
- A customer-centric approach with robust relationship management skills.
- Flexibility, motivation, self-confidence, and a results-driven mindset.
- Strong analytical and logical skills for problem-solving, with the ability to work independently and proactively.
- Familiarity with CRM applications (e.g., Salesforce) for managing relationships and planning.

Educational Background:
- Tertiary qualifications in optometry, orthoptics, science, or business are preferred.

Work Experience:
- A minimum of 2-3 years in customer-facing roles within a surgical environment or related fields.
- A solid understanding of ophthalmic procedures, product technology, and sales to the medical community.
