Job Title: Technical Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Operations Manager to lead our End User Compute team. As the primary point of contact for escalated technical and procedural issues, you will oversee daily operations and be responsible for generating operational reports to monitor and improve team performance.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned IT professional to join our team and make a significant impact. You will lead a team of service desk professionals, providing coaching, training, and guidance to enhance their technical skills and customer service abilities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of service desk technicians, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Provide coaching, training, and guidance to team members to enhance their technical skills and customer service abilities.
  • Provide second and third level support services for end-user devices, including software and hardware investigations.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and set individual and team goals.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues, including hardware, software, and network problems.
  • Ensure that the team delivers exceptional customer service and maintains high customer satisfaction levels.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT, with a focus on technical operations and leadership.
  • Proven track record of leading teams and improving process efficiency.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
