About the Role

The Cyber Uplift Programme Manager will lead a high-impact cybersecurity uplift programme to strengthen organisational cyber resilience, enhance security maturity, and ensure compliance with mandated frameworks and industry best practices.

This role involves ensuring governance, delivery coordination, risk management, and stakeholder engagement are executed to a high standard within the programme's time constraints.

The successful incumbent will be accountable for the end-to-end management of the programme, including strategic planning, governance, execution, and realisation of benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive programme plan that aligns with organisational goals and objectives.
  • Lead a team of stakeholders to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and decision-making.
  • Manage programme risks, issues, and changes to ensure minimal impact on deliverables.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with enterprise risk frameworks and broader business objectives.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Programme/Project Management, or a related field.
  • Certification in Programme or Project Management (e.g. MSP, PMP, PRINCE2).
  • Desirable: Cybersecurity certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001, SABSA).
  • Significant experience delivering large-scale ICT or cybersecurity programmes in complex environments.
  • Demonstrated high-level experience in cyber uplift initiatives, governance, stakeholder engagement, and vendor management.
  • Proven track record in managing risk-based programmes that deliver regulatory, operational, or resilience outcomes.
