About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Manager to join our team at Macquarie Asset Management. As a key member of our Sustainability team, you will play a critical role in setting the overall sustainability strategy and ESG framework for our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as an internal and external consultant for integrating ESG best practices into the Fixed Income investment life cycle within the Macquarie Asset Management Credit team.
  • Drive the implementation and execution of our Net Zero roadmap, including our engagement strategy, by building strong relationships and leveraging the expertise of both the Fixed Income and Sustainability teams.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of ESG trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide strategic advice to our investment teams.
  • Collaborate with our investment teams to integrate ESG considerations into our investment decisions and portfolio management processes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, investors, and industry partners.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional experience in the asset management industry, with a focus on fixed income or equities.
  • Experience or demonstrated interest in sustainability or ESG.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to navigate a large, complex, and matrixed organization.
  • Commercial mindset, with the ability to apply a sustainability lens to business strategy and outcomes.
