Snowy Hydro is a leading renewable energy organization seeking an experienced Sustainability Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will be responsible for project managing the delivery of the ASRS 'Sustainability Report' and other sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the ASRS project plan in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Conduct a gap analysis of the risk and governance requirements of ASRS to identify and meet its key requirements.
  • Champion sustainability initiatives and integrate them into functional areas, policies, and organizational strategy.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with internal groups to assess the financial, operational, and reputational impact of climate change.
  • Monitor the external environment on emerging trends, policy directions, industry standards, and expectations in relation to sustainability.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives.
  • Detailed knowledge of or experience in sustainability methodologies and frameworks.
  • Previous experience in successfully delivering projects in large complex organizations.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and influence decision-making at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop credibility and trust with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong background in communications, report writing, and project management.
