Volunteer Social Visitor

Join our team of dedicated volunteers and make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults at our residential aged care home. As a social visitor, you will have the opportunity to build relationships with residents and help create a fun and engaging atmosphere.

Your role will involve setting up a room for activities, announcing quiz questions, and helping to facilitate social interaction among residents.

About the Role:

  • Provide companionship and support to residents through regular visits
  • Assist in organizing and running quizzes and other activities
  • Help to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for residents

Requirements:

  • Aged 18 years or older
  • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by the organization
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Availability: one afternoon a week or fortnight for 6 months or longer, Monday - Friday between 2:00pm – 4:00pm
