Earth Construction Specialist

The RoleAs a Senior Site Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating technical activities on assigned projects, including planning, scheduling, and ensuring effective communication and coordination between disciplines, participants, and clients.
The role focuses on construction of earth-fill tailings dams and liner systems. Significant experience in earthworks supervision and QA/QC management is essential.
This position will be based in our Australia office but involve working on overseas projects, primarily in West Africa and South-East Asia.
- Maintain quality control of all earthworks and surrounding infrastructure while on site.
- Participate in teams to provide technical skills and support to projects.
- Audit Contractors' proposed methodologies and plans to ensure suitability.
- Review Contractor fleet and performance to optimize schedule and cost efficiency.
An ideal candidate should have a strong working knowledge of civil, geotechnical, water resources, environmental engineering, and/or earthwork construction principles.
They must hold a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, geotechnical, or water resources and possess at least 10 years of experience in geotechnical structures design and construction projects, particularly in mining infrastructure.
