We are seeking an experienced Senior Industrial Designer to lead our design efforts in creating innovative and impactful healthcare products.
This is a unique opportunity to leverage your skills and experience to drive product direction across complex diagnostic and cell therapy development programs. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will collaborate closely with designers, engineers, scientists, and program managers to deliver high-quality products that meet the needs of our clients.
Your primary responsibilities will include developing and leading design concepts from initial sketches through to compelling 3D visualizations and prototypes. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of user research and observation, with the ability to translate findings into actionable insights and design inputs. You will also need to have excellent visual and verbal communication skills for presenting complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- 5+ years of professional experience in product design, demonstrated through a compelling portfolio.
- Bachelor Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design Engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience in user research and observation, with the ability to translate findings into actionable insights and design inputs.
- Strong visual and verbal communication skills for presenting complex ideas.
- Proficient in 3D CAD (Solidworks), Adobe Creative Cloud; Keyshot or similar rendering software.
- Adept at building low and mid-fidelity prototypes using foam-core, 3D prints, and other methods.
