Product Design Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Product Design Consultant to join our design consultancy. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients to interpret their briefs, conceptualise and design innovative products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial design or product development, with advanced skills in SolidWorks or Inventor. You will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D renders and presentations, preparing detailed drawings and documentation for manufacturing teams, and staying up-to-date on new materials, trends, and emerging technologies.

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to create and deliver striking presentations. A positive mental attitude, a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions consistently, and the ability to work collaboratively with others are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Closely collaborate with clients to interpret briefs and conceptualise innovative products
  • Utilise creative thinking and design skills to produce high-quality 3D renders and presentations
  • Prepare detailed drawings and documentation for manufacturing teams
  • Stay updated on new materials, trends, and emerging technologies
  • Work collaboratively with internal cross-functional teams and external suppliers
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or related field
  • At least three years' experience in industrial design or product development, ideally within a design consultancy
  • Advanced design skills in SolidWorks or Inventor
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and presentation skills
  • A positive mental attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions
