About the Role:
The Executive Director is accountable for leading a team of professionals who provide quality services to clients. This involves defining and implementing plans and policies to further the organization's mission.
Job Description:
Develops and maintains effective working relationships with senior management, teams, and stakeholders.
Represents the organization at government agencies, local communities, accrediting bodies, and the public at large.
Serves as direct staff liaison to senior leadership, committees, and task forces.
Serves on community committees and/or boards to maintain collaborative relationships.Represents the agency on boards, professional associations, community task forces, local, state, and national committees; speaks at seminars, community events, and special occasions; oversees agency's licensing and funding reviews.
Attends conferences, training, and development workshops as required for professional and organizational development and accreditation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a bachelor's degree in a related field and at least ten years of experience in a similar role.
