About You

To succeed, you will have:

  • Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualification in Community, Workplace Health and Safety, Customer Communications and services, information management and/or business administration or demonstrated equivalent experience.
  • Workplace Expertise: Strong background in Workplace Health and Safety (WHS), Internal Audit, Risk Management, Customer Service, Information Management, and working with Volunteers and Vulnerable Communities.
  • Strategic Leadership: Proven ability to set strategic direction at team or departmental levels.
  • Community Engagement: Experienced in delivering high-quality customer service tailored to diverse community needs.
  • Team Leadership: Skilled in supervising and leading teams, managing performance, and providing ongoing support and guidance.
  • Improvement & Change: Knowledgeable in continuous improvement, change management, and quality management principles.
  • Sector Awareness: Maintains up-to-date understanding of current trends and reforms within the sector.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Interpersonal & Communication Skills: Advanced verbal and written skills, with the ability to negotiate, influence and motivate, whilst building trust and credibility with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Adaptability: Creative, innovative, and flexible in responding to change.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on exploring new and effective solutions.
