Operate Steel Machinery

The role of a steel machinery operator is crucial in the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Steel experience: Having worked in a steel environment preferably in a heavy manufacturing setting.
  • Heavy machinery operation: Proficient in operating heavy machinery with a focus on precision and control.
  • Gantry Crane operation: Experience with Gantry Cranes is an advantage.
  • Forklift Licence: A valid Forklift Licence is essential for this role.
  • Effective communication: Possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn new skills adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Medical assessment: Passing a medical assessment to ensure your ability to perform duties.
  • Physical ability: Being physically capable of working on your feet for extended periods.
