Overview

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Equipment Operator to join our team in Dandenong South.

About the Role

Maintain proper start and stop procedures for industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

Monitor, maintain and operate warehouse equipment efficiently, ensuring seamless operations throughout the production line.

Clean and quality-check machinery regularly to guarantee everything functions as expected.

Operate heavy machinery with caution and precision, adhering to established safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance schedules and any issues encountered.

- Collaborate with colleagues to optimize workflow, reduce delays and improve overall productivity.

- Identify areas for improvement and propose cost-effective solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- At least 1 year of experience operating industrial equipment.

- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.

Benefits

- Competitive hourly rate: $27.46 per hour.

- Overtime available on Saturdays at a premium rate.

- Part-time hours: 40 per week.

- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.

- Supplemental pay types: overtime pay.

Other Requirements

- Relocation to Keysborough, VIC 3173 is mandatory prior to commencing employment.

- Valid driver's license highly preferred.

- Australia Work Authorization highly preferred.

Working Conditions

- Work location: On-site.

- Ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for extended periods.

- Physical demands may require working in a hot environment and exposure to hazardous materials.
