Davies Stewart are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Bid Management Professional to spearhead initiatives aimed at driving business growth through strategic planning, improved tender processes, and effective marketing and communication strategies.

This key position will oversee the Tenders and Marketing team while working closely with the Managing Director and Executive General Managers to foster and promote the expansion of McMahon's Customer Streams.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in tendering, marketing, and communications, with a proven track record of developing strategic engagement and communications programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Tendering and Marketing team, ensuring they have the resources and direction needed to successfully support tenders across the business.
  • Develop team skills in tendering, marketing, and communications to improve proposals, marketing, and brand reputation.
  • Provide training and development to upskill the wider business in each Customer Stream, to successfully position and tender new works.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the field of tendering and bid management, stakeholder engagement, corporate communications, marketing manager, or related disciplines.
  • Extensive experience in developing strategic engagement and communications programs.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build strong stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.
  • Well-developed organisational and time management skills with the ability to deliver to tight timelines while maintaining accuracy.
  • Knowledge of communications and marketing via social media to effectively target relevant audiences.
  • A current driver's license is essential, and a reliable vehicle is necessary.
  • You must be willing to obtain a White Card and undertake necessary site inductions as required.
