Job Description

We are seeking a talented Designer to join our team. As a Senior Activewear Designer, you will be responsible for translating our brand's vision and creative direction into innovative and compelling product designs.

Our ideal candidate will have a passion for design, creativity, and attention to detail. You will work closely with the Creative Direction and merchandise teams to develop comprehensive technical drawings and specifications that guide the product development process.

  • You will collaborate with the graphics team to develop colour palettes, prints, and graphics that enhance the visual impact of our products.
  • Research and evaluate materials, trims, and embellishments to ensure optimal performance, quality, and aesthetic appeal.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor offerings to inform design decisions.
Key Responsibilities

The role requires:

  • A deep understanding of activewear fabrics and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and solve design issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • The ability to hit deadlines and deliver high-quality results under pressure.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with CAD tools and Product Lifecycle Management Software.
  • Knowledge of textile science and garment construction techniques.
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
