About the Role
">As a seasoned agricultural professional, you will be based at our Tarcombe Orchard in regional Victoria. This full-time role offers a mix of hands-on work and leadership.
">During the off-season, you will focus on farm and orchard maintenance, planning activities to keep everything running smoothly. In peak season, you will play a key role in harvest operations, embracing the dynamic pace and contributing to a thriving team environment.

- Assist the Orchard Manager in overseeing daily operations">
- Develop and implement strategies for improving crop yields and quality">
- Maintain accurate records and reports">
Required Skills and Qualifications:
">We are looking for someone with a strong passion for agriculture, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Key qualifications include a current driver's license, chemical users' certificate, forklift ticket, and relevant licenses and qualifications pertinent to agriculture.
">Sound mechanical knowledge and experience working in a broadacre or irrigated crop environment are preferred. Our ideal candidate has a proven ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers, liaise with management to overcome challenges, and address orchard issues.
">Preferred Experience:
">A demonstrated passion for regenerative agriculture and sustainable practices, mechanical aptitude, and experience in operating and maintaining modern farming equipment are advantageous. Leading small teams and prioritizing activities would also be beneficial.
