Montague Farms is a leader in orchard operations across Australia, dedicated to delivering premium produce through innovation, data-driven decision-making, and sustainable farming practices.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Admin/ Analyst to oversee and facilitate the administrative and data management functions across our orchards nationally.

The Role

This role plays a critical part in ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and operational insights that support orchard performance. You'll work closely with Orchard Managers, Finance to streamline systems, enhance reporting, and provide analytical support to guide business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Data Management & Reporting

  • Manage accurate and timely collection of key orchard datasets (payroll, harvest, stocktakes, orchard block metadata, spray and fertiliser records).
  • Analyse operational data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare monthly dashboards and reports with Orchard Managers and Finance.
  • Lead the end-of-month close process across orchards.
  • Develop and maintain reporting tools including Power BI dashboards and Excel models.

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Collaborate with teams to improve orchard digital systems and ensure staff adoption.
  • Create and maintain orchard datasets (mapping software, planting schedules, chemical tracking).
  • Support the transition from manual to digital tools for farm data collection.

Audit, Compliance & Grants

  • Coordinate data requirements for internal and external audits.
  • Assist Finance and Operations with data preparation for government or industry grants.
  • Maintain and update orchard administration procedures and SOPs.

Project & Stakeholder Support

  • Support Product Managers with data for planting programs and royalties.
  • Represent Orchards in cross-functional sustainability and innovation projects.
  • Provide insights to Farm Managers on workforce planning, chemical usage, and yield predictions.
About You

We're looking for someone who thrives on accuracy, efficiency, and problem-solving. You'll bring:

  • Strong data management and reporting experience (Power BI and Excel highly regarded).
  • Experience in agriculture, horticulture, or related industries (preferred but not essential).
  • Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.
