Strategic Transport Asset Management Executive

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Transport Asset Management expert to lead the establishment of a new statutory corporation, Transport Asset Manager (TAM). As the Chief Executive, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the safety and reliability of the state's rail assets, facilitating long-term investment in rail infrastructure while ensuring efficient operations and asset surety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the establishment of TAM, including working with the broader Transport for NSW team to finalize contractual, commercial, and administrative arrangements
- Bring a clear focus on large-scale asset management, particularly strategic oversight and assurance for the state's transport assets
- Collaborate closely with Transport for NSW for overall policy and planning for the transport network
- Foster a culture of collaboration and partnership within the broader NSW transport ecosystem
Requirements:
- Highly developed strategic and commercial capabilities to deliver on a long-term strategic vision for a diverse and growing asset base
- Proven experience in large-scale asset management, with a deep understanding of reliability and safety
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work constructively within the broader NSW transport ecosystem

Compensation and Benefits:
The estimated annual salary for this position is $250,000 - $350,000, commensurate with experience. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
