As a Payments Assurance Specialist, you play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of subcontractor payments. This position is ideal for finance professionals who enjoy working in a structured environment.

Your primary responsibilities include managing subcontractor payment assurance, exception reporting, and auditing payment data. You investigate, interpret, and calculate payments, identify errors and their root causes, and ensure compliance with established standards.

You will manage and resolve payment disputes, maintaining meticulous records and documentation. In this role, you collaborate closely with Operations Site Supervisors & Managers, Finance teams, and Subcontractors to ensure all processes adhere to the Service Level Agreement (SLA).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Verify daily cases are thoroughly checked and investigated, maintaining comprehensive documentation in the system for audit purposes.
  • Respond promptly to stakeholders, adhering to the Service Level Agreement and team leader expectations.
  • Identify erroneous payments, investigate root causes, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to resolve discrepancies efficiently.
  • Adjust and correct over/under payments in accordance with defined processes and delegated authority.
  • Provide clear guidance to internal and external stakeholders on payment compliance standards.
  • Manage and resolve queries and disputes in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
