Position Overview:
This role is integral to the operations of a not-for-profit health organization focused on enhancing community well-being. The MBCP Practitioner will operate within the family violence framework, engaging with various protocols including NTV, MARAM, FVISS, and CISS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and respond to referrals from diverse sources.
- Evaluate men's readiness for change and co-facilitate men's support groups in designated areas.
- Collaborate with Family Safety Advocates to ensure comprehensive support.
- Provide case management and support to men affected by family violence.
Qualifications:
- A relevant undergraduate degree in social work, psychology, or a related field.
- Completion of the Victorian Risk Assessment and Risk Management Framework training (MARAM comprehensive).
- Experience observing group sessions is essential.
- Possession of a current Victorian Drivers Licence and Working with Children Check (Employee) or VIT Registration.
- Graduate Diploma or Graduate Certificate in Men's Family Violence is preferred.
- Experience facilitating men's behaviour change groups is advantageous.
