About the role:

We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse to join our team at St Hilary's Community facility in Victoria, working on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be available for Morning/Afternoon/Night shifts from Sunday to Wednesday.

This role focuses on providing high-quality clinical care to consumers, working as part of a collaborative team. The main objective is to deliver care that meets consumer expectations, ensuring dignity, respect, comfort, and quality of life are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and management to care staff, promoting a team-based environment and a consumer-focused approach.
  • Ensure all staff reporting to you are working within their scope of practice and maintaining Baptcare standards in terms of care delivery, professionalism, and customer service.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication in relation to all aspects of care, while respecting individual privacy and dignity.
  • Ensure safe and secure management of medications.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement process and be able to explain it to stakeholders.
  • Maintain your own educational and professional development within your scope of practice.

About You:

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Experience working in the Aged Care Sector or with elderly people
  • Proficient in computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and basic Excel
  • Ability to meet and perform the inherent requirements of the role
