Compliance and Training Specialist

The role of the Compliance and Training Specialist contributes to disaster resilience by ensuring effective coordination and management of compliance and training across a network.

This specialist works within a unit responsible for security, fire life safety, incident management, and business continuity to ensure compliance with standards, legislation, policy, and procedure across areas of fire, security, emergency response, and emergency management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop systems for data collection, analysis, and reporting on fire safety, security, incident management, and emergency response.
  • Establish frameworks for compliance with codes, standards, legislation, policy, and procedures in key areas.
  • Monitor and report on safety, quality, and risk systems for effective service governance.

Requirements:

To be successful, you must possess a diploma or certificate IV in training or assessment, have excellent communication skills, and interpersonal abilities, and be able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

You will also need to develop and deliver training packages, including practical demonstrations, and analyze problems and data to provide accurate findings.
