About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team at Future You. As a Tax Manager, you will play a key role in providing technical tax advisory services to our international clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of clients and provide tax advisory services to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Work on internal projects to develop and implement tax strategies that drive business growth.
  • Assist partners in preparing tax advice and memorandums of advice.
  • Work with clients directly to understand their tax needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Mentor a team of Seniors and Intermediates to develop their tax skills and expertise.
  • Manage work-in-progress (WIP) and ensure timely completion of tax projects.
Requirements
  • At least 8 years of experience in a Business Advisory or Tax role at an Australian Public Practice firm.
  • Permanent resident or citizen of Australia.
  • Full CA or CPA qualification.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work with budgets and meet productivity targets.
  • Understanding of tax reporting principles, legislation, and reporting requirements.
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience providing technical tax advice to clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
