SA Health's Procurement and Contracts Management Team is a leading provider of innovative supply chain and contracting practices in South Australia. As a key member of this team, the Principal Category Manager will be responsible for strategically procuring ICT within a complex health environment.

The successful candidate will manage a diverse procurement portfolio that includes products, services, and solutions, including hardware, software, and cloud-based technologies. They will assist in delivering SA Health's forward procurement plan, which includes hardware to support the new Women's and Children's hospital and the expansion of the electronic medical record system to include more public hospitals and healthcare facilities.

  • Managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously;">
  • Leading continuous improvement through AI and data-driven decision-making, strategic risk management, and stakeholder engagement;">
  • Driving contract performance through negotiation and supplier management, ensuring value for money and the best possible outcomes for the state;">
  • Assisting in the development of procurement strategies and policies to support the achievement of SA Health's objectives.">
