The Opportunity

Day-to-day, the Student Advisor serves as the primary point of contact for students, handling a range of queries or issues via various communication channels. These include general academic advice, emotional support, technical assistance, as well as inquiries related to courses and university processes. In addition, this role provides comprehensive administrative support throughout the student journey, from enrollment through to graduation.

Reporting to the Team Leader, the Student Advisor will join a team of authentic, passionate individuals who are dedicated to helping you achieve your full potential. This is a true career opportunity where you'll be making a tangible difference in people's lives.

About You

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with the following:

  • An authentic individual with a compelling story to share - we believe life experiences add depth to our ability to work effectively, make informed decisions, and ultimately support our students.
  • Previous experience in a support role providing exceptional support to end-user customers.
  • A minimum Bachelor's level degree (must have completed).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A solution-focused approach with a proactive attitude to supporting your customers.
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • Availability for various shift patterns.

This is a full-time role, and you must be available to work shifts. An example of a shift pattern is below:

Week 1: 9-5

Week 2: 1-9

Week 3: 9-5

Week 4: 8-4

Week 5: 9-5 with weekend. RDO on either side.

Week 6: 10-6
