Job Title: Occupational Therapist
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with patients to help them achieve their goals and regain independence.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine patient needs
- Provide hands-on therapy sessions to improve patient mobility and function
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements:
- At least 1-year acute hospital experience
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and demonstrated ability to work autonomously
- Sound knowledge of My Aged Care systems and referral process
Benefits:
This part-time role offers a competitive hourly rate of $40.61-$56.88 plus superannuation and casual loading.
