About the Job

As a dedicated healthcare professional, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care within a supportive team environment.

You will work in our state-of-the-art facility, located in the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct, Southport, ensuring that every patient receives the highest quality care possible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Evidence-Based Nursing Care: Deliver safe and effective nursing care to patients, prioritizing their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Supervise and Mentor Nursing Team Members: Guide and support junior staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Educate and Support Patients: Assist patients in recovery, rehabilitation, and end-of-life care, promoting independence and dignity throughout their journey.
  • Lead Quality Improvement Initiatives: Collaborate with the healthcare team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes that enhance patient care and safety.
  • Collaborate with the Healthcare Team: Work effectively with doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Authority to Work in Australia: Ensure you have the necessary documentation to work legally in Australia.
  • Minimum 12 Months Experience as an RN: Demonstrate your ability to provide high-quality patient care in an acute setting.
  • Previous ICU Experience Highly Regarded: Showcase your experience working in Intensive Care Units, if applicable.
  • Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or Equivalent: Hold a recognized qualification in nursing.
  • Current Unrestricted AHPRA Registration: Maintain up-to-date registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National Standards: Adhere to the Australian Commission on Quality and Safety in Healthcare's national standards.
  • Clinical Expertise and Commitment to High-Quality Patient Care: Demonstrate your passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
  • Self-Motivated Team Player: Show your ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
