Campus Facilities Coordinator

Our Melbourne campus is seeking two casual events and campus services assistants to work closely with our events and campus services coordinator.
- Ensure all campus services and facilities, including workspaces, meeting spaces, recreation spaces, and accommodation, are properly equipped, safe, clean, comfortable, set up, and ready for use as required.
- Prepare the commercial kitchen for food preparation and cleanup during/after events and meetings.
- Portion, heat, plate, and serve food in accordance with safe food handling practices.
- Accept deliveries and store them appropriately.
- Monitor stock levels of amenities and supplies.
- Restock amenities and supplies for short- and long-stay accommodation and other campus facilities as needed.
- Unpack and shelve linen deliveries and prepare linen trolleys for cleaners.
- Advise the events and campus services coordinator of any issues or concerns regarding service and facility readiness.
- Demonstrate experience in hospitality, functions, events, accommodation, or related fields.
- Display physical fitness and a willingness to undertake hands-on work.
- Hold a basic qualification in food handling that meets Victorian food act requirements (or be willing to obtain the qualification on commencement).
- Be willing to complete required training to act as a food supervisor in accordance with the act.
