
Chief Patient Information Officer

We are seeking a dedicated medical records professional to provide high-quality administrative and systems support in the management of patient medical records. This role will contribute to smooth patient flow and ensure critical information is available to clinical teams when needed.
Key Responsibilities:- Creating, retrieving, tracking, and maintaining electronic and physical patient medical records.
- Supporting clinical units with medical record requirements and assisting staff with electronic record systems.
- Administering release of information in line with legislation, policy, and privacy requirements.
- Performing general administrative duties to ensure the efficient daily operation of the medical records department.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing patient information.
- Proficiency with computerised information systems (Microsoft Word, Excel) and office equipment.
- Knowledge of, or the ability to quickly acquire, medical terminology to interpret patient information.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide outstanding service to internal and external clients.
- The ability to prioritise and organise workload effectively, balancing urgent and routine tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
