Job Description

We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team as a General Manager in our aged care facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational requirements of our residential aged care, seniors living and home care services.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of dedicated professionals and work closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality care and services to our residents and clients.

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Lead a team of staff to achieve excellence in care and customer service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A demonstrated record of achievement in a senior management role, preferably in aged care or a related setting.
  • Strong HR and people management skills, including staff leadership and development, succession planning and experience in change management.
  • High-level communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage residents, clients, families, the community and both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Business acumen, including budgets and efficient rostering, as well as knowledge of aged care standards and accreditation processes.
  • The ability to unite and lead a team that is focused on high performance in a values-driven culture.
