Job Opportunity

Mercy Place Colac offers a warm sense of community, with beautifully landscaped gardens and facilities. We seek an experienced leader to manage day-to-day operations of residential aged care, seniors living, and home care services in Colac.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team in a values-driven culture, promoting positivity and safety while focusing on individual resident and client needs.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to deliver best practice operational and clinical services, including allied health, hospitality, lifestyle, and community activities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve high performance and quality standards in accordance with accreditation requirements.
  • Manage staff leadership and development, succession planning, and change management initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and engagement.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated senior management experience in aged care or a related setting.
  • Strong HR and people management skills, including staff leadership and development, succession planning, and change management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage residents, clients, families, and stakeholders.
  • Aged care knowledge and understanding of ACFI targets, accreditation, and expected standards.
  • Ability to unite and lead a team focused on high performance in a values-driven culture.
