Support Young People in their Mental Health Journey

We are seeking a passionate and compassionate individual to join our team as a Mental Health Worker. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people aged 12–25.

As a valued member of our mental health team, you will form strong professional relationships with young people, helping them navigate a wide range of challenges including early mental health issues, substance use, physical health, education, and social concerns.

You will conduct psychosocial assessments using tools such as HEADSS, K10, PHQ9, GAD7, SOFAS, and SCOFF, develop and deliver individualised care plans that reflect each young person's goals, strengths, and needs, provide evidence-based psychological support, monitor outcomes, and implement appropriate risk management plans.

Additionally, you will engage in single session support, group facilitation, and family-inclusive practice, working in a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and inclusive way that supports both the individual and their family.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people and bringing warmth, professionalism, and commitment to their work.

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Nursing, or a related allied health field, registration with a relevant professional body, experience delivering individual and/or group therapeutic interventions, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Your Role as a Mental Health Worker

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct psychosocial assessments using evidence-based tools.
  • Develop and deliver individualised care plans that meet the needs of each young person.
  • Provide evidence-based psychological support, monitoring outcomes and implementing risk management plans.
  • Engage in single session support, group facilitation, and family-inclusive practice.
Benefits of Working with Us

At our organisation, we value our employees' growth and well-being. We offer a supportive team environment, opportunities for ongoing professional development, and a comprehensive employee benefits package.

We are committed to creating a safe and welcoming space for all young people, where they feel heard, supported, and empowered to thrive.
