Youth Mental Health Specialist

As a specialist in youth mental health, you will be working with young people aged 12–25 to help them navigate various challenges. You will conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored care plans that reflect each individual's goals, strengths, and needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments using tools like HEADSS, K10, PHQ9, GAD7, SOFAS, and SCOFF.
- Develop and deliver evidence-based support services, monitor outcomes, and implement risk management strategies.
- Provide targeted interventions, group sessions, and family-inclusive practice in a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and inclusive way.
- Advanced qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Nursing, or a related field.
- Registration with a relevant professional body (or willingness to be provisionally employed).
- Experience delivering therapeutic interventions, strong understanding of youth mental health issues, and evidence-based treatment approaches.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect authentically with young people from diverse backgrounds.
