About this Role:

We are seeking a results-driven Maintenance Operations Director to lead and enhance the maintenance function at our high-output manufacturing site.

This is a hands-on leadership position with the scope to drive both immediate operational performance and long-term asset strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and direct a team of maintenance professionals
  • Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns to minimize production disruption
  • Buildd and sustain a proactive and predictive maintenance culture
  • Manage and optimize CMMS systems, maintenance schedules, and asset lifecycle data
  • Partner with operations, production, and sales to align priorities and plan proactively
  • Drive continuous improvement across equipment, systems, and maintenance processes
  • Manage contractor engagement, performance, and compliance
  • Ensure a strong safety culture and full adherence to WHS, environmental, and regulatory standards
  • Contribute to capital investment planning and long-term reliability strategy
  • Champion operational excellence through structured problem-solving and root cause analysis

This role requires a proven leader with experience in industrial sectors such as plastics, polymers, packaging, or FMCG manufacturing. The successful candidate will have a strong working knowledge of CMMS systems and asset management principles, along with excellent technical problem-solving abilities.
