Business Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Business Support Specialist. As a key member of our organisation, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting the growth and development of local businesses.
The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to plan, prioritise and organise work to achieve goals and meet deadlines. They will also possess excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written, and be able to maintain a high level of professionalism and judgement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the management team, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments and coordinating events.
- Assist with the development and delivery of business events, including planning, promotion and logistics.
- Manage official communications, including responding to enquiries, drafting correspondence and maintaining social media accounts.
- Support the implementation of internal and external communications strategies, including publicity material.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A formal qualification or substantial relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and exercise initiative where required.
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite, CRM Management and Data Management Packages.
