Special Education Teacher Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced special education teacher who can develop and implement individualized learning plans for students with special needs. The successful candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing Individualized Learning Plans: Create personalized learning plans that cater to the unique needs and abilities of each student.
  • Providing Support and Guidance: Offer one-on-one support and guidance to students in various settings, including classrooms and outdoor environments.
  • Collaborating with Colleagues: Work closely with teachers and other professionals to share knowledge and best practices in teaching and supporting students.
  • Communicating with Parents: Keep parents informed about their child's progress and involve them in the learning process whenever possible.
Requirements
  • A recognised initial teacher education qualification or equivalent.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and other stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
