Job Description

As a Learning Diversity Specialist, you will be responsible for leading diversity programs for students from Prep to Year 3. This permanent position offers a chance to make a lasting impact on the educational journey of these young minds.

Your key responsibilities will include creating and implementing strategies to cater to the diverse needs of students, working closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure seamless integration of services. You will also be required to maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular updates to parents and caregivers.

A key aspect of this role is the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. You will need to build strong relationships with teachers, administrators, and other support staff to ensure that all stakeholders are informed and engaged in the learning process.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., Master's of Teaching, Bachelor of Education, PGCE)
  • Current VIT registration (or eligibility to gain)
  • Knowledge of NCCD processes
  • Postgraduate qualification in learning diversity is highly regarded but not essential
