About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Analyst to join our team at ENGIE, a global energy company. As a Quantitative Analyst, you will play a crucial part in our commitment to leading the energy transition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our Spot Trading, Forward Trading, Portfolio and Commercial teams to develop and support quantitative tools for energy markets.
  • Support the development, maintenance, and quality control of quantitative models, including load forecasts, asset operation optimization, contract, option, and complex products valuations.
  • Work with our Head of Analytics or Principal Analyst Quantitative Modelling on complex tasks, gathering requirements, designing, implementing, and testing.
  • Ensure analytical work is complete to a high standard and on time, regularly communicating project status to Principal Analyst Quantitative Modelling.
  • Run analytics and data processes for internal stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Develop and automate reports.
  • Proactively suggest new possibilities for analytics/projects to Principal Analyst Quantitative Modelling.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring forward your technical programming skills, including experience in SQL, Microsoft Excel, and coding in R and Python, ideally in the energy industry.

You will also have a strong mathematical background, quantitative, and statistical skills.
