Job Title: Talent Acquisition Officer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Talent Acquisition Officer. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about building strong relationships and attracting top talent.

About the Role:

The Talent Acquisition Officer will be responsible for collaborating with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and coordinating interviews. They will also work closely with other teams to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and team requirements.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews.
  • Coordinate reference checks and any other required pre-employment checks.
  • Prepare employment agreements.
  • Coordinate onboarding for new employees.
  • Prepare various letters and update employee files in line with changes to employment conditions.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on recruitment activity.
  • Model the values of our organization in day-to-day work, including interactions with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Comply with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.

Selection Criteria:

  • Qualifications:
    • Qualification in Human Resources and/or Business (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience and skills:
    • The ability to build trust and rapport to develop effective working relationships.
    • Excellent time management, communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
    • The ability to interact with varying stakeholders at all levels.
    • A professional, mature approach, with a service mentality.
    • Ability to manage a variety of different tasks and prioritize competing demands.
    • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.

  • Suitability Card for Child Related Employment (Blue Card).
  • National Criminal History Check.
  • Eligibility to legally work in Australia.
  • Behave in accordance with the values of our organization.
